Gillette Wild forward Isaac Young was announced as the NA3HL Frontier Division Bauer Hockey Star of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday. The Fergus Falls, MN native recorded nine points as Gillette swept the Sheridan Hawks this past weekend.
Young scored a goal and assisted on four others Friday night, before scoring a goal and assisting on three others on Saturday. In 14 games this season, Young has 31 points, coming on six goals and 25 assists.
Forward JP Johnson was recognized with Frontier Division Honorable Mention honors. Johnson collected eight points, scoring three goals and assisting on two others Friday night, and scoring a pair of goals and assisting on another Saturday.
In 16 games this season, Johnson has 34 points, scoring 21 goals and having assisted on 13 others.
