The Gillette Wild Junior Hockey Team is in the midst of completing their fourth year as an organization, and in that time, the team has raised many thousands of dollars for local community works in Gillette, including: Swing for the Cure, The Heptner Cancer Center, Bricks for Vets, Young Life, Toys for Tots, The Council of Community Services, and Relay for Life. This year alone, the team has already brought in $20,600 from our Pink in the Rink game in October for Breast Cancer, Military Appreciation for the Bricks for Vets Memorial, The Ugly Christmas Sweater for Young Life, and though there is a Jersey in February for Relay for Life, The Wild have added a jersey in for the College in January. The jerseys will be worm the 23rd and 24th of January and the money raised will be donated to Gillette College Foundation. The puck will drop at those games at 7:05 p.m. and each night and will have special guests, honorary puck drops, and entertainment from the Energy City Voices choir. You won’t want to miss this event, and its quickly approaching!
